    1. Oh, and at the risk of turning this into a list, there's also Jakey Gyllenhall, most especially when toting a beard.
As far as I was ever allured by female on-screen presences, it was on first seeing Jenny Agutter in 'The Railway Children' in 1970 (still in my all-time Top 20 films) that it dawned on me how beautiful a female could be - followed years later by the then not dissimilar-looking, Annette Bening, noticed for the first time in 'Valmont' in 1990.

There. Now that it's all out I'll stop!

  31. Oh my word, he looks just like my eldest son, that is so weird. My first crush on a film star was Steve McQueen when I snuck into a cinema with my older sister (I was underage and come to think of it so was she, we should have been 16 or over and I was 12 and she was 15 but its amazing what lots of slap and back-combed hair can do) and we saw Love With The Proper Stranger starring Steve McQueen and a luminous Natalie Wood. He was so cool in it and looked just like a Mod with that short hair cut. The scene where he takes NW for a back street abortion was so realistic and dreadful, it worked better on me than any sex education talk at school. Sue H.

  43. Alas mine are legion - they come in two categories: eye candy Clive Owen, Aidan Turner, Mark Harmon, Chakotay in Star Trek: Voyager, Idris Elba and most bizarrely Jay from Tattoo Fixers - young enough to be my son! and Thinking woman's crumpet - Alan Rickman, Zachary Quinto, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeremy Paxman. Oh the shame....;-)
